Job Description
The People & Culture Associate is responsible for assisting in a variety of People & Culture tasks and initiatives such as Human Resources Administration, Talent Acquisition, Training & Organizational Development, and Employee Engagement.
They help build a healthy ecosystem that upholds the culture of the agency by focusing on the overall employee experience such as assisting in executing culture focused initiatives and activities that promote employee engagement, assisting in the talent acquisition process of the company, assisting in the talent development workshops and sessions of other departments, and ensuring that day to day tasks of the People & Culture department are on track.
Assists the Chief Culture Officer and People & Culture Lead in:
Human Resources Administration
- Focusing on the employee life cycle and helping develop people strategies and workforce plans in line with business requirements.
- Assisting in the regular review of HR policies and procedures and recommending solutions to concerns that may arise that are connected to human resources.
- Ensuring that day to day trackers and schedules of the people & culture team are up to date and are efficiently moving.
Talent Acquisition
- Assisting in the full spectrum of talent acquisition process, including onboarding, off-boarding, and orientation programs.
- Collate all job opening applications, updating the company’s job opening trackers, and source and screen top talent across various platforms and networks
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and feedback
Training & Organizational Development
- Knowing talent across the business and assisting relevant departments in training and development programs of the Company.
- Manage training calendars, trackers, and external partnerships with training providers.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of L&D programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Employee Engagement
- Assisting in the development and execution of various company events and ensuring that the company calendar of activities is being followed
- Working with relevant departments to develop activities that build engagement, unity, pride, and a strong employee Company Culture that reflects our mission and values.
- Ensuring that Company Values are driven from culture to behavior through employee engagement programs, policies, and initiatives.
- Regularly checks in on the wellbeing of employees through standardized people and culture programs
Qualifications
- Preferably a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or any related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while adapting to changes.

Training & Development

The Creative Director position at Varsity is one of creative leadership. A key responsibility here is to translate trends and ideas into feasible concepts for clients, while maintaining our company values -- playful, thoughtful, personal.

- Create, plan, and deliver an integrated strategic vision for every project. This includes supervising and guiding concept development, forming pitches and concept boards, creating briefs and submissions, producing any needed requirements for the assigned accounts, approving final treatment, guiding asset preparation assets for final release, and preparing final art given final treatment and file requirements.
- Lead in-house team and third party suppliers alike by brainstorming, building, producing, shooting, and creating content across all platforms and releases. Take ownership of the creative requirements with our in-house team and third party suppliers. Mentor, encourage, motivate, and quality check the Creative and Strategy teams to foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensure content produced reflect consistently and positively the brand image, client brief, and company ideals.
- Serve as a liaison between the Creative, Strategy, and Accounts teams assigned to a project. This includes developing work flows for interdepartmental efficiency; integrating industry best practices; and managing creative work adjustments given client issues.
