Job Description
Varsity Co-op’s Strategy Director holds a high-impact leadership position, linking broad business objectives and creative execution. This is a 360-degree strategy role, spearheading brand building while simultaneously directing digital strategies and the creative teams that execute them. They lead strategic thinking across a diverse portfolio of industries—from FMCG, tech, entertainment, lifestyle, and B2B–and mentor a multidisciplinary team of strategists and copywriters.
Strategic Stewardship & Client Growth
- Act as the strategic lead across all active accounts, shaping and delivering project briefs that are sharp and backed by relevant insights.
- Oversee all social and creative strategies to ensure they remain aligned with overarching brand goals.
- Identify and implement strategic frameworks tailored to different business models, identifying unique consumer behaviors or human truths across varying market sectors.

Data Intelligence & Consumer Insight
- Design integrated brand ecosystems that align ATL, BTL, and digital touchpoints with a single, cohesive brand voice.
- Oversee social listening, competitive benchmarking, and primary research to ensure campaigns are proactive rather than reactive.
- Identify new channels, platforms, and tools to strengthen consumer insight understanding.
- Define success beyond vanity metrics, linking all marketing activity back to tangible business results.
Training & Mentorship
- Coach and mentor all members of the Strategy Department to elevate their thinking, moving them from task executors to strategic partners.
- Lead internal workshops and identify training opportunities that keep the agency and our clients at the forefront of industry trends while actively investing in the professional growth and mastery of our team.

Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience in brand or creative strategy, with at least 2 years in a direct leadership or department management role.

Job Description
The Finance Associate will provide essential support to the Finance Officer and the broader Finance & Accounts Department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing historical and day-to-day transactions, assisting in payroll and benefits administration, and ensuring smooth financial operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Financial Operations- Record and monitor all daily financial transactions, expenses, disbursements, and cash flows under the guidance of the Finance Officer.
- Monitoring of liquidation for allowances of employees.
- Assist in managing and organizing historical and current financial documents such as receipts, invoices, petty cash reports, cash advancements, reimbursements, and liquidation reports.
- Support the preparation and filing of vouchers, check payments, and necessary supporting documents.
2. Accounting & Reconciliation
- Assist in preparing balance sheet schedules and basic reconciliations (e.g., advances, payables, receivables) as assigned by the Finance Officer.

The Creatives intern is someone whose skills are foundational in graphic design and basic video editing, but who hopes to expand as well to art direction, photography, and videography.
- Daily alignment with assigned Mentor for tasks, feedback on work, and timeline.
- Assist Art Directors, Associate Creative Directors, Creative Directors, and the Executive Creative Director with day to day tasks, company activities, internal projects, and external projects. This includes a wide range of design-related tasks, including sketching, visualizing, mocking up, revising, and polishing.
- Act as a creative assistant on-ground for productions, events, and activities. This includes documentation duties, acting as a runner, helping direct talent, assisting with documents, and the like.
- Create supers, thumbnails, icons, and other visual design elements needed to bring video concepts to life. This includes possibly taking photographs on-set for thumbnail use.
- Generate social media edit-downs of full-length materials provided by production partners. This includes preparing storyboards before the shoot, editing footage from the production house, and creating thumbnails for the finished product.
- Assist in the documentation and social media rollout for events. This includes joining pre-production meetings, generating shotlists, designing social media frames, and taking footage on-ground.
- Participate actively and submit work regularly for enrichment activities designed by assigned Mentor.
