Creating and growing GCash PRO’s Facebook community

There is hustle where you try to find it. And in the ever increasing need to become self-sufficient, whether through side jobs or large enterprises, individuals are all looking for the best way to move forward with their businesses. GCash PRO steps in, not only to become part of these businesses’ transactions, but also to become a key part in building best practices in business through an accessible community.

Varsity Co-op grew the community page of GCash PRO Sellers where business owners, big and small, were encouraged to join and impart knowledge on what works and what doesn’t work for their businesses. We created brand-leaning and product-centric materials that introduced GCash PRO as an integral part of the business owner’s workflow—from payment link options to loans. To balance out this mix and to allow the community to feel more hospitable, we welcomed community led questions that pooled together the expertise and experience of the group members.

GCash PRO steadily grew in membership, with community members contributing more to the voice of the group on the daily. These internal interactions married with acquisition materials posted on the GCash’s main brand page, exponentially increased membership and engagement for GCash PRO Sellers. 

Creating brand ambassadors out of the growing community is one of the main goals to create a sustainable group. To encourage this, we created giveaways with the aim of having members create testimonials on their public spaces—promoting the group and GCash PRO as a service for all business owners. 

GCash PRO Sellers continues to be a group for business owners who are looking for a platform and service for best practices and a nurturing community of like-minded entrepreneurs.
